Montgomery County under Hyperthermia Alert Beginning Monday at Noon 

Montgomery County is under a Hyperthermia Alert from noon-7 p.m. Monday. A Hyperthermia Alert is issued by the county when temperatures/heat index is forecast to be at least 95 degrees, according to the county. County Installing Dynamic Signs to Show Real-Time Speed on Brink Road in Gaithersburg 

Montgomery County is installing permanent “dynamic speed signs” that tell drivers their real-time speeds on Brink Road in Gaithersburg, according to a release from the county.  The county’s transportation department (MCDOT) will put up four signs: two facing eastbound traffic and two facing westbound.
