Former President Bill Clinton hit the campaign trail for his wife Hillary with a stop in Silver Spring on Wednesday. Democratic leaders including Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett touted their support for the Clinton campaign at the event which took place at the Leisure World retirement community. Montgomery Community Media’s 2016 “Day in the Life of Montgomery County”project was recognized by the Montgomery County Council on April 12. The Proclamation was read by Council President Nancy Floreen followed by remarks from Executive Director of Montgomery Community Media Merlyn Reineke. MyMCMedia’s Maureen Chowdhury reports.
