Montgomery County Board of Education at-large candidate Lynne Harris campaigned Tuesday to tell voters why she is the right choice for school board. Harris is running against Sunil Dasgupta. MyMCMedia spoke with Harris about her perspective on school reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As of 1 p.m., 230,690 Marylanders had voted on Election Day — 23,158 in Montgomery County. Most typical polling places in our county are closed due to COVID-19. There is one voting center in Poolesville, and residents turned out bright and early. Residents can find open voting centers on the county board of elections website.

The Montgomery County Board of Education has an at-large seat on the ballot. Sunil Dasgupta faces candidate Lynne Harris in the race for the seat.
