Montgomery County police officers are investigating a serious pedestrian collision that occurred today in Germantown. It happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Germantown Road near Wisteria Drive. A fire at 724 Ritchie Avenue caused an estimated $85,000 in damage and displaced a family of four, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services Spokesperson Pete Piringer.
