The Montgomery County Health & Human Services Committee along with Councilmember Katz recently proposed legislation to ban smoking in designated areas at restaurants throughout the County.

Former President Bill Clinton hit the campaign trail for his wife Hillary with a stop in Silver Spring on Wednesday. Democratic leaders including Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett touted their support for the Clinton campaign at the event which took place at the Leisure World retirement community.
