Council President Hans Riemer holds his last “meet the media.” Discussions included some budget talk, as it relates to compensation, as well as his thoughts on the Halloween incident at Damascus High School. If the council follows custom, Council Vice President Nancy Navarro will become the council’s new president.

Council President Hans Riemer met with reporters where the discussion focused on the bicycle master plan, small cell towers and other topics.

Montgomery County Council President Hans Riemer met the media Monday and discussed small cell towers, wineries and breweries in the Ag Reserve and a minimum wage technical correction.

Montgomery County Council members will discuss proposals to expand wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries in the county’s Ag Reserve at its meeting Tuesday.
