Suspect in Darnestown Assault, Crash Arrested in Miami
UPDATED: The suspect in an assault and kidnapping in Darnestown on May 19 has been arrested in Miami, according to Montgomery County Police.
Rickley Joshua Senning, 24, was wanted by Montgomery County Police on charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment, auto theft, and two counts of second degree assault.
Just before 10 p.m. on May 27, the Miami-Dade Police Department responded to a call for service in their jurisdiction for a suspicious person with a subject of the name Rickley Senning.
Miami Dade Police Department officers conducted a warrant check and located the open warrant on file with Montgomery County Maryland Police.
A short time later, Rickley Joshua Senning was located and taken into custody for the open arrest warrant. He is awaiting extradition proceedings to Montgomery County, Maryland.
On May 19, at approximately 9:42 p.m., patrol officers responded to a call for an assault at the Harris Teeter located at 14101 Darnestown Road. They met the victim, a 53-year-old female, who stated that an acquaintance, Rickley Joshua Senning, a 24-year-old male, had assaulted her two times that evening.
The victim stated that Senning resided with her and had assaulted her at her Dickerson residence and outside the Harris Teeter on Darnestown Road. After the assault, Senning had taken her vehicle and fled. After Senning left the Harris Teeter, he was involved in a collision on Darnestown Road near Bondy Lane.
