Spring Finally Arrives for Ballplayers (PHOTOS)

On a sunny spring afternoon in Gaithersburg, the softball and baseball fields at Quince Orchard were alive with ballplayers. The visiting Clarksburg Coyotes were on the losing side in both the softball and baseball events, Monday, April 18. Clarksburg rallied in the final innings of both games but fell short as Quince Orchard boys and girls hung on to claim 7th inning victories. The action on both fields was fast and dusty.  The QO Boys claimed a 6-4 victory while the QO Girls withstood a spirited effort by the Clarksburg girls to hold on for the  5-4 win.
