Small Business Networking Breakfast (Photos and Video)
Montgomery County business owners gathered at MCM studios on Jan. 17 for the small business networking breakfast.
The keynote speaker was Montgomery County Council Vice President Craig Rice who delivered a wealth of information to the business owners, including information about opportunities, statistics and economic incentives in Montgomery County.
Rice also shared some of his ideas for increasing the focus on small businesses. The Council VP’s staff is currently working with the county’s economic development and general services departments on offering even more incentives for procurement of small businesses. It was my first time and will definitely be one that I continue to put on my calendar. I have already told and invited more WBO’s and othe biz owners. Thank you! Councilman Rice’s office helped me with Comcast as well. They were contacted by Rose in his office on Friday. Regional Manager called at 8:10 pm on Friday night and Saturday morning our Comcast cable, Internet, and phone were back on. It had been out since 1/14 and wasn’t going to fixed until 1/22. Once again terrific networking and I already have 2 new clients and I am going to blog at MCM as well. Thank you, Kelly and MCM!
