Serious Collision in Layhill Leads to Life-Threatening Injuries
A collision on Sunday morning led to both drivers sustaining serious injuries, according to a press release from Montgomery County Department of Police.
At 1:11a.m. on Sunday, MCPD and Fire and Rescue officers responded to the intersection of Norbeck Road and Layhill road after getting reports of a collision.

A 2016 Nissan Altima was driving northbound on Layhill Road and a 2015 Nissan Altima was driving westbound on Norbeck Road, approaching Layhill Road. The Nissans then collided in the intersection. The reason for the collision is still under investigation.
Waqas Tahir Khan, the driver of the 2015 Nissan Altima, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The female passenger of the 2015 Altima was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the 2016 Nissan Altima, Aaron Pugh, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
In 2016 Pugh was charged with driving with impaired by alcohol, according tot records from the Maryland District Court.
