School Board Committee Will Meet Thursday to Discuss Special Education This Fall

The Montgomery County Board of Education Special Populations Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday to discuss special education in the fall semester.   

Residents can submit questions before the meeting and watch live on YouTube and Facebook

On Tuesday, the school board approved a plan for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 31 and ends Jan. 21, 2021. The all-virtual plan includes live, synchronous instruction at all grade levels as well as independent and off-screen work. 

MCPS offered sample schedules for residents to take a look at. Schedules will vary by school and grade.
