Ride On Bus Service Adding Buses on Wednesday

Ride On BusMontgomery County’s Ride On bus service is planning to add buses when possible to routes on Wednesday in response to the Metro rail outage.

According to a county news release, there are 85,000 daily Metro rail travelers in Montgomery County.

Commuters are encouraged to adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Montgomery County Government will be open on March 16 with “liberal leave” for non-essential County employees. All essential County employees are expected to report to work as scheduled. Non-essential employees may use unscheduled annual leave, paid time off, leave without pay or compensatory time without prior supervisory approval. Employees who choose not to report for work must notify their supervisors.

If you have questions, MC311 will open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
