Registration is Open for the Takoma Park Street Festival

The Takoma Park Street Festival is scheduled for Oct. 4, but registration is open.

This festival is organized by the Old Takoma Bussiness Association and takes place on a mile stretch of Carroll Avenue in Takoma Park.

According to the organization’s website, more than 200 artists, community groups, children’s activities and others participate in the annual event.

The festival is set to have three stages with 18 local bands playing indie folk, rock, blues, country, reggae and more.
