President Trump Orders U.S. Flag to Half Staff on Oct. 7 in Honor of Fallen Firefighters
President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. flag to be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Oct. 7 in honor of the National Firefighters Memorial Service.
As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag will be lowered to half staff as well because no flag may fly higher than the United States flag.
President Trump has proclaimed Oct. 7 – 13 as Fire Prevention Week.
