President Obama Orders Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of Baton Rouge Police Officers

President Barack Obama has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff from now until sunset on July 22nd.

The president’s action is in honor of the victims of the attacks on police officers in Baton Rouge on Sunday.

As a matter of protocol, the Maryland flag has been lowered to half-staff as well as no flag may be higher than the United States flag.
