Police Seek Help to Identify Home Invasion Suspects (Video)

Montgomery County police detectives continue to investigate a residential robbery that occurred on Nov. 25 in Bethesda.

On Dec. 6 detectives released a surveillance video of the two suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects. According to police, the video was obtained from an office building in the area of the robbery.

According to a police account: On November 25, at approximately 1:52 p.m., 2nd District patrol officers responded to a residence in the 10500 block of Farnham Drive.  Police said two suspects approached the female homeowner at the front door and forced their way into the home.

Once inside, police said the woman and her husband were both confronted at gunpoint and property was stolen. According to police, a small child was also present during the robbery.  No physical injuries were reported.

Police said the suspects then stole the victim’s Cadillac Escalade which was recovered a short time later at the intersection of Berkshire Drive and Yorkshire Terrace.

Police have released the following description of the suspects:

  •  black male in his 20′s, 5’10″ tall, weighing 200 pounds, black ski mask and dark baggy clothing.
  •  black male in his 20′s, 6’2″ tall, weighing 190 pounds, thin build, dreadlocks, dark clothing, wool hat, and blue and white scarf, armed with a handgun.
