Police Release Surveillance Footage of Motorcycle Theft Suspects (VIDEO)

Montgomery County police continue to investigate a July 22nd theft of a motorcycle that happened at a residential parking lot located on the 1400 block of East West Highway.

Police released surveillance video of two suspects this week and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.

According to police, the video surveillance shows at approximately 9:43 a.m. on July 22nd, two suspects entered a the parking garage and stole a black 2008 Yamaha motorcycle. Police said that after stealing the motorcycle, one suspect rode out of the garage through the closed security arm, while the other suspect severed as a lookout. Police said the stolen Yamaha was found abandoned in a ravine in Baltimore County on Aug. 28th.

Detectives are asking anyone who recognizes the suspects from the surveillance video or anyone who has information about this crime to please call the Montgomery County Police-Central Auto Theft Division at 240.773.6370. Crime Solvers of Montgomery County is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
