Police Release Image of Man Sought for Burglary

Montgomery County police released a surveillance photograph Wednesday of a commercial burglary in Montgomery Village in hopes someone can identify the culprit.

The burglary took place Sunday, Aug. 5, at the Shades of Elegance Hair Salon at 19122 Montgomery Village Ave.

About 6 a.m., a man forced entry through the front door of the salon and fled before obtaining any property. He was last seen on foot toward the rear of the Montgomery Village Shopping Center, police said.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has information about the burglary is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770.  To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477) or enter a tip online. Crime Solvers will pay a cash reward of up to $10,000 for information provided to them that leads to an arrest or indictment.  Tipsters will remain anonymous.
