Montgomery County police officers are asking for your help to find a missing Wheaton woman.
According to police, 25-year-old Sandra Yaritza Diaz was last seen by family members during the afternoon hours on Thursday when she left her Selfridge Road residence on foot.
Police said Diaz, who owns a vehicle, left her car parked outside of her residence when she left. Family and friends have not heard from her since she left and her car has not been moved.
Diaz is described by police as a Hispanic female, 5’7” tall, and weighing 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Police and family members are concerned for her physical and emotional well-being.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Diaz is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301.279.8000. Callers may remain anonymous.
