Police Looking for Man Who Stole Property from Bethesda Office

Rockville district police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a burglary in a Bethesda office.

Police say the burglary happened on May 24 at the Penney Designed Group office, which is located on Woodmont Avenue.

Officers responded to the Penney Designed Group’s report about the incident on May 28 at 9:30 a.m. One of the company’s employees discovered the burglary after opening the office one day, police say.

The employee told police that “property was missing from the office.” After reviewing surveillance footage, police found that a man entered the building on May 24 around 4:15 p.m., “forced entry into a side office of” the Penney Design Group, “stole property, and left the building.”

Police have released surveillance footage of the man wanted in connection with this incident.

They ask anyone who has any information to contact Rockville district police at 240-773-6710. People can also contact the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County to be eligible for a $10,000 reward at 1-866-411-8477.
