Amber Alert Canceled
Update, 8 p.m.: Police issued this update: Amber alert has been canceled. Both children were found safe and unharmed in Prince George’s County by officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department.
MCP investigators are interviewing Perry in regard to the domestic-related assault of the adult female victim that occurred inside a home in the 700 block of West Side Drive in Gaithersburg.
This remains an ongoing investigation and additional information will be released as it is confirmed.
Original post: Montgomery County police issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday for two children, 9-year-old Kingston Perry and 18-month-old Karina Perry.
The children were taken by their biological father, Dwight Reylando Perry, 35.
Perry was last seen driving a 2016 Blue Toyota Camry with Maryland tags: 5DF8922
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the children, suspect, and or vehicle is asked to immediately call 911.
Police said that about 1 p.m. July 10 officers responded to the 700 block of West Side Drive in Gaithersburg for the report of a domestic-related stabbing.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Perry, who is the victim’s boyfriend, fled with the two children in a 2016 Toyota Camry. The victim is Karina’s biological mother. Perry is the biological father of both children.
Detectives are concerned for the children’s welfare.
This is an ongoing investigation by the Montgomery County Police Department – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID). Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the children, suspect, and or vehicle is asked to immediately call 911.
