UPDATED: Police Investigating Shooting at Travelodge in Silver Spring (VIDEO)
UPDATED Montgomery County Police detectives are investigating a shooting that officers responded to on Wednesday, at a Travelodge, located at 8040 13th Street in Silver Spring.
Police said that an adult male was injured.
According to a Montgomery County Police spokesperson, the injured person told officers that the shooting was a result of an attempted armed robbery, which occurred in Washington, D.C.

Police also said that the incident is not a random act and no one is in custody.
