Police Investigating Robbery in Germantown
Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating a home invasion robbery that took place in Germantown Tuesday morning.
Officers responded to the 13600 block of Demetrias Way where an adult victim said that she heard gunshots inside the home before she was confronted by two suspects who threatened her with a handgun and demanded cash. According to police, the suspects obtained property from the home and fled.
Detectives determined the suspects fired several shots while inside the residence and some of the shots entered a neighboring home. Responding officers said the other home was checked and no injuries were reported.
The suspect who was armed with the handgun is described as an African American male in his 30’s and approximately 6 feet tall. The second suspect is described as an African American male between 20 and 30 years old. Police said the second suspect is approximately 5 feet and nine inches tall and weighs around 250 pounds.
