Police Investigating CVS Pharmacy Robbery in Wheaton

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s help with identifying the person they said is responsible for robbing a CVS Pharmacy in Wheaton.

Police said that on Oct. 21, the store’s location at 2321 University Boulevard West, for the report of an armed robbery.

An investigation by detectives revealed that the suspect entered the CVS, displayed a handgun, and confronted the adult male clerk who was behind the counter.

According to police, the suspect threatened the clerk and demanded that the clerk open the store’s safe.  The suspect stole currency from the safe before he fled.
