Police Investigate Teen’s Death as Homicide at Gaithersburg Park
Montgomery County police officers are investigating the death of an 18-year-old male whose body was discovered in a Gaithersburg park on Friday evening as a homicide.
Police said shortly before 8 p.m. on June 17th, officers from the 6th District station and Gaithersburg Police Department responded to Malcolm King Park, located at 1200 West Side Drive, for the report of a deceased male.
According to a news release, first responders located the victim and police said there was evidence of trauma to his body. Police have identified the teen as Cristian Antonio Villagran Morales of Gaithersburg.
Detectives are urging anyone who may have information regarding this case to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.
