Police Investigate Sexual Assault in Gaithersburg
Detectives with the Montgomery County Police Department are investigating a sexual assault that happened earlier this week in Gaithersburg.
According to a press release, a woman was walking in the area of Mountain Laurel Lane and Flower Hill Way on Monday between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m. when she was approached from behind and touched inappropriately by a suspect.
Police say this suspect is described as a black male who is about 5’7″ tall, and 175 pounds. His age is unknown.
This incident is still under investigation, and anyone who has information or observed anything suspicious in that area is asked to contact detectives in the Special Victims Investigations Division at 240-773-5050.
