Police Investigate Pedestrian Collision Near Shady Grove Road

Montgomery County Police Department tweeted Tuesday that they are investigating a traffic collision involving a pedestrian. Police say that Shady Grove Road is closed near the entrance of Shady Grove Hospital.

The striking vehicle remained on the scene, police say.

ALERT: Shady Grove Rd closed at the entrance to Shady Grove Hospital for traffic collision with pedestrian. Adult male victim. Striking vehicle remained on scene. Please divert around while police investigate.

A spokesperson for MCPD did not have an update about the condition of the pedestrian. The spokesperson told MyMCMedia that police were dispatched to the scene at 3:42 p.m.
