Police Investigate Germantown Pharmacy Robbery, Ask for Help Identifying Suspect

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) asks for the public’s help in identifying a suspect as detectives investigate a Sept. 2 robbery of a Germantown pharmacy.

Officers responded to a reported robbery at the pharmacy on the 19000 block of Frederick Road around 10 a.m. that day, police said in a release Monday. According to MCPD, two suspects jumped a counter and one fled with prescription medication, and also left a sneaker behind. Police described the suspect as a Black male around 20 years old, of thin build and standing about 5-feet-10-inches to 6-feet tall. The police department released surveillance video and asks for help identifying him.

Those who want to be anonymous can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-8477 or submit a tip online/via the smartphone app. Crime Solvers may offer a cash reward for information that results in an arrest.
