Police Investigate Fatal Collision in Clarksburg

Montgomery County police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred last night in the 26600 block of Clarksburg Road.

According to police,  the driver of a 2007 Ford Fusion lost control of his vehicle and collided with a utility pole.

Despite life-saving efforts, police said the driver, identified as 54-year-old Richard Pliszak of Mount Airy, Maryland was pronounced dead.

This collision remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240.773.6620.
