Police Identify Man Killed in Potomac Construction Accident
The accident happened Thursday morning at The Heights School in Potomac.
According to police, officers responded at approximately 8:43 a.m. following a reported building collapse.
A preliminary investigation revealed that construction crews were working outside of the school to move a portable building. While moving, the building struck Moran and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Department was notified and is assisting in the ongoing investigation.
