Police Conducting Sobriety Checkpoint Tonight

Law enforcement officers from the Montgomery County Police Department and the city of Gaithersburg are conducting a sobriety checkpoint Friday evening.

This enforcement is a component of a continuing effort to curb impaired driving and underage drinking.

The exact location of the checkpoint has not been disclosed. It starts about 10 p.m., weather permitting.

Officers from the Montgomery County Police Department are reminding motorists to have a plan, drive responsibly, and choose a sober driver.

    The police are doing a good job about that I was once a victim and many people still do not learn from their past experiences I hope this is been done every Friday Saturday night to get drunk drivers out of the streets of our dear Montgomery county good job Maryland police am very proud of you
