Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division are asking the public for help in locating a missing Silver Spring juvenile.

Roni Diggs, 12, of 16th Street, was last seen at about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, when she left on foot from Sligo Middle School, at 1401 Dennis Avenue in Silver Spring.

Diggs is described as an African American female, 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 140 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes, and a nose ring.

Diggs was last seen wearing a blue jacket over a gray T-shirt. The T-shirt has the words “girls can do anything” written on the front. She was also last seen wearing black leggings and pink Nike tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for Diggs’ welfare.
