Police Ask for Help Identifying Dead Body

Montgomery County police want help identifying a person found dead in an elementary school parking lot.

The person is male, about 15 to 20 years old and a high top fade haircut, police said. He was wearing black gym shorts with white and silver stripes and blue Nike Jordan sneakers. A gray t-shirt was found on the ground near him.  

He suffered no obvious signs of trauma.

He was found about 2 p.m. Friday unresponsive in the parking lot of South Lake Elementary School, 18201 Contour Road, Gaithersburg.

The male was declared deceased.

Although police say they need to investigate further, foul play is not suspected.  The body has been sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Baltimore for an autopsy.

School staff saw him walking on school property at about noon Friday. School personnel have seen the male on previous occasions playing basketball at the school.
