Police Are Asking for Public’s Help Locating a Wanted Person (PHOTO)

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department’s 5th District Patrol Investigations Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating a wanted person, Gregory Howard Pearson, age 66.

According to a news release, a warrant has been obtained by detectives for Pearson’s arrest, charging him with theft and credit card fraud offenses.

Police say Pearson stole a credit card from the purse of an 81-year-old woman, while she was shopping at the Giant Food located on Frederick Road in Germantown. Pearson used the stolen card to purchase items at nearby retailers.

Detectives are asking that anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Gregory Howard Pearson to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301.279.8000 or contact the 5th District Patrol Investigations Unit at 240.773.6245.
