Planning Board Announces Rock Spring Master Plan Meeting
The Montgomery County Planning Department and Montgomery Parks have announced a meeting to discuss the Rock Spring Master Plan on Thursday, January 28. At the meeting, staff from Montgomery Parks will present information on planned amenities, open spaces and roles for County agencies and developers.
Planning Department staff will also conduct a discussion during the latter half of the meeting focusing on transportation policies, land use and a review of connectivity issues identified at previous meetings.The Rock Spring Master Plan covers the North Bethesda area bordered by the I-270 spur, Westlake Drive and Democracy Boulevard. The plan focuses on revitalizing the area into a mixed-used neighborhood with offices and homes.
The meeting will take place at Walter Johnson High School located on 6400 Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
