Pike District Hosting ‘Thursdays in the Park’ Outdoor Concert Series
Series brings eight weeks of live music to North Bethesda
Eight weeks of free outdoor concerts are coming to the North Bethesda Pike District in a pop-up park located at Grand Park Avenue and Market Street, by the Montgomery County Conference Center garage.
The series titled “Thursdays in the Park” is scheduled to start June 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and continue for eight consecutive weeks. Every week food and beverage vendors will be on-hand to bring a variety of food and drink options. Activities including cornhole and bocce ball will also be available.
Picnic tables and Adirondack chairs are available but attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to set up in the park.
“So many of us have craved live music for the past year and the Pike District has traditionally been where live music comes out to play. We are excited to be able to host a free concert series in a safe, outdoor venue,” said Kris Warner, spokeswoman for the Pike District.
