Practical Parenting Strategies with Dr. Heller


Dr. Carey Heller is a licensed psychologist and founding partner with The Heller Psychology Group LLC, which is a small private practice located in Bethesda, Maryland near Montgomery Mall. He specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families. Dr. Heller conducts play, individual, and family psychotherapy for a variety of issues including ADHD, Autism, anger management, and family conflict. He also provides evaluations to assess for learning disabilities, ADHD, mood, and behavioral disorders. Additionally, Dr. Heller offers parent training, assistance with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, serves as a parent coach/child specialist in collaborative divorce cases, runs groups on ADHD, bullying, anger management, and provides a variety of other services as well. Raising children is rarely easy, so Dr. Heller’s blog is devoted to providing parenting strategies and information about available resources to help parents and their children.
