NWS Issues Winter Storm Warning for Montgomery County
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 a.m. today, Feb. 16, for Montgomery County.
Freezing rain may result in up to one quarter of inch of ice.
According to the National Weather Service, precipitation will change to rain Tuesday morning as temperatures begin to rise.
Temperatures are in the mid to upper 20s, rising to the lower 30s by Tuesday morning. Winds are blowing from the southeast from 5 to 10 mph.
The freezing rain is expected to cause slippery roads and travel may be difficult.
