NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Montgomery County
Hold onto your hat! The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Montgomery County, effective from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. today.
According to the advisory, the highest wind gusts are expected late this morning into the afternoon.
Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees and power lines. Scattered power outages may also occur.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 45 to 55 mph are expected. Strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
