NWS Issues Freeze Warning for Montgomery County
Cover your outdoor plants! The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze Warning for Montgomery County, effective from midnight to 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
According to the NWS warning, temperatures will be in the lower 30 degrees tonight with lows in the upper 20s Tuesday night.
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
Unprotected vegetation is sensitive to freezing temperatures and may be killed or damaged.
The NWS has issued a FREEZE WARNING issued for Montgomery County for 4/18/2018 from 12:00 am to 9:00 am. Expect nighttime temps to dip below 32 degrees. Cold-sensitive vegetation and crops should be covered or brought indoors. More info: https://t.co/B7TyNK6LVY #MdWx
