NWS Issues Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Montgomery County, effective from 3 p.m. thru 9 p.m. today.
It’s part of a cold front that will move thru the region this afternoon and early evening.
According to the NWS, widespread showers and thunderstorms will accompany the front some of which could produce intense rainfall rates in a short period of time.
Flash flooding may occur in creeks, streams and roadways, especially in poor drainage areas.
Stay weather alert.
