NWS Issues Flash Flood Watch for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Montgomery County from 4 p.m. Thursday through the early evening.
According to the NWS, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected ahead of a cold front that will cross the area.
Rainfall of one to two inches with locally higher amounts will be possible in an hour, the NWS said. These rates could result in flash flooding.
