No Major Injuries in Potomac School Bus Collision
A bus carrying 48 school-aged campers collided with a work truck, sending 14 children and the driver to the hospital. None of the injuries sustained were life-threatening, and the other 34 children were relocated from the accident. The accident occured on July 30 at 9:00 a.m. on River road, near Newbridge Drive and Persimmon Tree Road. The bus was transporting the children to Valley Mill Camp in Darnestown when it was rear-ended by the truck.
