Muslim Foundation Donating Fresh Meat to Charities

The Montgomery County Muslim Foundation is distributing 5,000 pounds of fresh meat to several Silver Spring and Takoma Park charities this weekend, the organization said.

At 9:30 a.m., the meat will be distributed at Impact Silver Spring, 8644 Piney Branch Road. For information, call Carlos Iglesias at 301-549-0761.

At 11 a.m., the meat will be distributed at Educare, 7001 New Hampshire Ave., Takoma Park. For information, call Derick Thomas at 240-602-9572.

At 12:30 p.m., the meat will be distributed at Adventist Social Services, 7620 Maple Ave., Takoma Park. For information, call Terry Seaman at 240-793-5108.
