Mosaics and Music: Promoting Mattie Stepanek’s Poems of Peace

Dozens of people gathered at Dawson’s Market in Rockville Sunday to witness the unveiling of a 5-foot mosaic that honors the life of Mattie J.T. Stepanek, a poet who died at the age of 13. The event was organized to raise money for Mattie’s annual Peace Day, where his foundation shares his poetry and visions about peace.
