Montgomery’s Acting Police Chief To Become Laurel Chief

Montgomery County Acting Police Chief Russell Hamill has been appointed police chief of Laurel, a community of about 25,000.

Laurel Mayor Craig Moe revealed the appointment through Instagram.

Hamill had become the Montgomery County’s acting chief just after former Chief Tom Manger announced  his retirement in January.
