Montgomery Parks Celebrating 30th Anniversary of ADA

Montgomery Recreation and Montgomery Parks are holding a virtual celebration in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The ADA30 Celebration Kickoff Virtual Dance Party will include music by DJ Good Vibrations, guest speakers, family fun and swag bag raffles.

Register through ACTIVEMontgomery to receive the Zoom link.

ADA became law on July 26, 1990. It prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in jobs, schools, transportation and all public and private places that are open to the general public.
