Thefts from vehicles summary:

Rockville District

Two thefts from vehicles occurred in the 7600-7800 blocks of Heatherton Lane between about 6 p.m. Dec. 13 and about 8 a.m. Dec. 14. No force; cash was taken.

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. Affected streets included Smithy and Owens Glen courts; Devereaux Terrace; Ambiance Drive; Owens Glen Terrace; and Owens Glen Way. No force; property was taken.

Bethesda District

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 15 and Dec. 17. Affected streets included Saratoga Avenue; Glen Cove Parkway; Albia and Uppingham streets; Little Falls Parkway; and Kirkwood Drive. Force was reported in two events; cash and property were taken.

Silver Spring District

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 11 and Dec. 18. Affected streets included Insley Street; Eton and Sutherland roads; Brunett Avenue; and Hastings, Woodland and Granville drives. No force; cash and property were taken.

Wheaton District

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 15 and Dec. 18. Affected streets included Evangeline and Vintage Spring terraces; Whimsey Lane; Sunset Lake and Sunset River courts; and Georgia Avenue. Force was reported in one event; cash and property were taken.

A theft from vehicle occurred in the 12500 block of Georgia Avenue between about 7:15 p.m. and about 8:10 p.m. on Dec. 19. Force; property and coins were taken.

Germantown District

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 11 and Dec. 17. Affected streets included Plummer Drive, Queens Cross Lane, Valley Bend Court, and Scottsbury Terrace. No force; cash and property were taken.

Montgomery Village District

Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred between Dec. 11 and Dec. 14. Affected streets included Park and Swarthmore avenues; Lee Street; and Shea Lane. Force was reported in one event; property was taken.

Three thefts from vehicles occurred between about 6:45 p.m. Dec. 11 and about 8:15 a.m. Dec. 12. One theft occurred in the 7400 block of Kilcreggan Terrace and two thefts occurred in the 7300 block of Brenish Drive. No force; cash and property were taken.

Rockville District

A commercial burglary occurred at the Lighthouse Tofu restaurant at 12710 Twinbrook Parkway in the early morning hours of Dec. 15. Forced entry; nothing was taken.

Two men attempted a strong-arm robbery in the 15900 block of Somerville Drive about 8:55 p.m. Dec. 11. The men tried to take another man’s cash and property. Police are looking for one man between ages 19 and 20, and a man between 19 and 21.

A 27-year-old Frederick woman was arrested for a vehicle theft in the 7800 block of Heatherton Lane between about 9 p.m. Dec. 13 and about 8 a.m. Dec. 14. Unknown entry. The vehicle was recovered on Dec. 20.

Police are looking for a man, between the ages of 18 and 20, for a residential burglary in the 11500 block of Piney Lodge Road between about 4:55 p.m. and about 5:09 p.m. Dec. 16. No signs of forced entry; a door was unlocked; nothing was taken.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Pissaro Court between about 9:30 a.m. and about 11 a.m. Dec. 18.

Bethesda District

A man attempted a commercial strong-arm robbery at the Knowles Apothecary at 10400 Connecticut Avenue about 12:30 p.m. Dec. 13. The man tried to steal medications.

An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Mitscher Street in the early morning hours of Dec. 19.

A residential burglary occurred in the 5200 block of Tuckerman Lane between about 12 a.m. Dec. 13 and about 10:10 p.m. Dec. 14. No signs of forced entry; property was taken.

Police are looking for a woman between the ages of 20 and 29 for a theft of a purse at the Whole Foods store at 4420 Willard Ave. about 2:45 p.m. Dec. 13.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 10400 block of Motor City Drive at about 11:55 a.m. on Dec. 12. No force; the keys were reported to have been left in the vehicle.

Silver Spring District

A man attempted an armed robbery in the 7800 block of Eastern Avenue about 5:15 a.m. Dec. 13. The man displayed a weapon, assaulted another man, and tried to take his cash.

A commercial burglary occurred at Moren Watchmakers at 8241 Georgia Ave. in the early morning hours of Dec. 14. Forced entry; property was taken.

Three men committed an armed robbery in the area of Blair Mill Way and East West Highway about 7:19 p.m. Dec. 15. One man displayed a weapon. The culprits took a man’s property.

A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Mansfield Road between about 11 p.m. Dec. 16 and about 5 a.m. Dec. 17. No signs of forced entry; a door was left unlocked; property was taken.

A commercial burglary occurred at the Famous Pawnbrokers at 8617 16th St. in the early morning hours of Dec. 18. Forced entry; nothing was taken.

Four men committed a strong-arm robbery in the 8500 block of Greenwood Avenue about 10 p.m. Dec. 14. The men took another man’s cash and property.

Residential burglaries occurred in the following areas:

— In the 11200 block of Lockwood Drive between about 8 a.m. and about 8 p.m. Dec. 13. Forced entry; property was taken.

— In the 11500 block of February Circle between about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 16 and about 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17. No signs of forced entry; a door was left unlocked; property was taken.

A man committed an aggravated assault in the 11400 block of Columbia Pike about 12:10 p.m. Dec. 16. The man displayed a weapon.

A man committed a strong-arm robbery in the 12500 block of Galway Drive about 10:57 p.m. Dec. 16. The man took a woman’s property.

Three men committed an armed robbery of a food delivery driver in the 14100 block of Castle Boulevard about 7:44 p.m. Dec. 15. Two cultprits displayed weapons. The men took food.

A man attempted a residential burglary in the 3500 block of Castle Way in the early morning hours of Dec. 17.

Wheaton District

A 21-year-old Olney man was arrested for an attempted residential burglary in the 17800 block of Lochness Circle in the early morning hours of Dec. 14.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 17800 block of Whimsey Court occurred between about 10 p.m. Dec. 15 and about 8 a.m. Dec. 16. No force; the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside.

A 28-year-old Silver Spring man was arrested for a strong-arm robbery in the 14800 block of Hammersmith Circle about 9:25 p.m. Dec. 15. The man assaulted a woman and took her property.

Three men, between the ages of 20 and 29, committed an armed robbery of a food delivery driver in the 14100 block of Whispering Pines Court about 9:33 p.m. Dec. 17. One culprit displayed a weapon. The men took the driver’s cash and property.

Two men committed an armed robbery in the 12500 block of Farnell Drive about 6:59 p.m. Dec. 12. One man displayed a weapon. The culprits took the juvenile male victim’s property.

A man committed a commercial armed robbery at the Delicioso Deli at 12134 Georgia Ave. about 6:37 a.m. Dec. 18. The man displayed a weapon and stole cash.

A man attempted a strong-arm robbery in the 11100 block of Georgia Avenue about 5:45 p.m. Dec. 14. The man assaulted another man and tried to take his property.

A man committed a commercial armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store at 11406 Georgia Ave. about 6 p.m. Dec. 15. The man implied that he had a weapon and stole merchandise.

Germantown District

Three men committed a commercial burglary and vehicle theft at the Crest Advanced Dry Cleaners at 20680 Seneca Meadows Parkway between about 8 p.m. Dec. 12 and about 6:34 a.m. Dec. 13. Forced entry; cash and property taken, keys were also taken and used to steal a vehicle. The vehicle was recovered on Dec. 13.

Three men committed a commercial burglary at the Sweet Frog at 20940 Frederick Road in the early morning hours of Dec. 13. Forced entry; cash was taken.

Four men committed a strong-arm robbery in the 20500 block of Frederick Road about 10:51 p.m. Dec. 16. The culprits assaulted another man and took his property.

A residential burglary occurred in the 6700 block of Maple Knoll Drive between about 12:45 p.m. and about 4 p.m. Dec. 18. No signs of forced entry; a window was left unlocked; property was taken.

Montgomery Village District

Three men committed a strong-arm robbery in the area of North Summit and East Diamond avenues in the early morning hours of Dec. 16. The man assaulted another man, and took his cash and property.

A man committed an armed robbery in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Circle about 5:56 p.m. Dec. 17. The man displayed a weapon and took a woman’s property.

The following crimes occurred between about 9:06 p.m. and about 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 18:

— Two men are sought for an armed robbery in the 19500 block of Brassie Place about 9:06 p.m. Dec. 18. One man displayed a weapon. The culprits took another man’s cash and property.

— Two men are sought for an aggravated assault in the 19500 block of Brassie Place about 9:09 p.m. Dec. 18. One man displayed a weapon.

— Two men are sought for an armed robbery in the 19300 block of Club House Road about 9:10 p.m. Dec. 18. One man displayed a weapon. The culprits took another man’s cash.

— Two men are sought for an aggravated assault in the 10200 block of Cove Ledge Court about 9:15 p.m. Dec. 18. One culprit displayed a weapon.

A vehicle theft occurred in the 7400 block of Kilcreggan Terrace between about 8 p.m. Dec. 13 and about 12:18 p.m. Dec. 14. No force; the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys inside. The vehicle was recovered on Dec. 14.
