Montgomery County During the Civil War (VIDEO)
Historian and author James Johnston was the keynote speaker at a recent Tuesday Topics presentation at the Gaithersburg Community Museum. In this short video, Johnston notes that Montgomery County was visited by numerous Confederates during the Civil War.
The next Tuesday Topics is scheduled for Feb. 10 at 7 p.m. and features Kerry Wixted of the Department of Natural Resources. The topic is “Maryland’s Wild Acres.”
