Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame Inducts Four Business Leaders (PHOTOS & VIDEO)
Four business leaders were honored on Oct. 27th at the fourth annual Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame event held at The Universities at Shady Grove (USG). More than 350 people came to celebrate Montgomery County business leaders who have made a “significant impact” in the community.
The honorees included:
- Martine Rothblatt, Ph.D and CEO of United Therapeutics Corporation
- Ronald Paul, Chariman and CEO of Eaglebank
- Kevin Sexton, President and CEO of Holy Cross Health
- Jim Sweet, President and CEO of Smokey Glen Farm Barbequers, Inc.
The event also serves as a fundraiser for scholarship programs at The Universities at Shady Grove. According to Lawrence Rosenblum, co-founder of the event and partner at Grossberg Company LLP, the Business Hall of Fame has raised more than $500,000 over the last four-years.
